Quinine is NOT REEF SAFE! It does not claim to be. I will be using it in my hospital tank which is bare bottom with two pieces of coral skeleton and a PVC condo. Doing water changes during treatment to keep parameters within acceptable limits and waiting to establish biological filter once treatment is completed.
Foster 200, it is frustrating when you worked very hard to set up a tank and now you feel that you can't enjoy it.

Thanks everyone! The treatment is on day 3 of 10 and its getting worse. Im not going to lose another fish. Going to tear it down tomorrow. One thing, my sand sifting goby needs sand right? how is this going to work when i do not have sand in my QT tank?

Just make sure you have something for it to hide with like the PVC pipe. Its no problem.

Just make sure you remove ALL fish from your main tank for at least 12 weeks...............
