Trying to help my frogspawn

Forgive me if a frogspawn is not a soft coral. I'm still new to learning different corals and their classifications.

I purchased a frogspawn from a local fish store, and have had it in my tank for a few months. When I purchased it, it wasn't fully extended, and has never become fully extended since being in my tank. It survived under a single T-5 and actinic for a long period of time, and I recently added a 250W 14K MH over the side of the tank the frogspawn is on. I do have a full size pendant due in next week to replace this 250W.

The coral is bleached, with only a small amount of brown on it. It rarely opens very much anymore, and there's a hammer maybe 2 1/2 inches below it that's doing just fine.

My parameters are

Phosphate: 0
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:20
Salinity: .023
Temp: 81 F
PH: 8.0
Alk (low): 6.4

Here's an image:

have you tried feeding it as suggested in the other thread? it's bleached and that makes it very difficult for it to photosynthesize and produce its own nutritional needs.

maybe the light effected it, that you had the light on to long, didn't acclimate the coral to the light? just thoughts.

Hmmm. Yeah, I'm working the levels.

Frag has been in there several months now. My lights are usually on about 10 hours a day.
