Forgive me if a frogspawn is not a soft coral. I'm still new to learning different corals and their classifications.
I purchased a frogspawn from a local fish store, and have had it in my tank for a few months. When I purchased it, it wasn't fully extended, and has never become fully extended since being in my tank. It survived under a single T-5 and actinic for a long period of time, and I recently added a 250W 14K MH over the side of the tank the frogspawn is on. I do have a full size pendant due in next week to replace this 250W.
The coral is bleached, with only a small amount of brown on it. It rarely opens very much anymore, and there's a hammer maybe 2 1/2 inches below it that's doing just fine.
My parameters are
Phosphate: 0
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:20
Salinity: .023
Temp: 81 F
PH: 8.0
Alk (low): 6.4
