Trying to join BAReefers, but am having difficulties. Please help!

So I'm now able to log on, so that's great.

But I've sent messages under the "contact us" link from the webpage, asking to join (pay fees in order to participate in frag swap), and I never heard back.

Anyone know how I can get in touch with the person in charge of memberships?

Just to be clear, participation in the upcoming frag swap is open only to current club members that were paid up as of June 9th, 2007.

All the information you need to join BAR in on the web site. Simply enter your information on the "New Membership Signup" page and follow the instructions for PayPal payment.

Can I come to the swap just for the experience? I'm learning so much about reefkeeping, I think it'd be great to be there.

But if it's pretty closed, I understand. Furthermore, if I am allowed to come and watch, but it would be pretty boring to someone not participating, please let me know also.

I'm really excited about coming to the BAReefer meetings; I can't wait for them to kick off. How often do you guys usually meet during the year?

I just sent my $20 membership via paypal, so that's good.

Hopefully soon I'll be processed for the website and I'll be able to post in the forums.

I understand I won't be able to participate in the swap, but from what I've read, coming and watching and learning is allowed. I'm looking forward to that to know what to expect in the future.

My tank is on the young side, so I'm not really ready to take anything great on atm. But come February I will be!

Correct. Now it might be a bit hectic since there will be more members than usual there, but say hello to some people, ask some questions and you should enjoy yourself.. even if a part of you feels the jealousy for others getting corals
