Trying to set up an Apex

Help!
I bought a used Apex. And now I'm trying to set it up. I've got it recognized by my computer and was able to update the firmware. But... I'm on a Mac and trying to set up the port forwarding. I've tried everything I can but can't seem to access it via reeftronics Apex/AC3 network diagnostic. I'm running a Netgear WNDR4000 N750 router on an iMac with OS X Lion 10.7.5
This is the screen where I can set the ports.

In the IP address I have the address of the Apex itself, should that be the computer? (although I tried that and it didn't work)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are talking about port forwarding, which it looks like you are, then yes, you would want the IP address of the Apex setup in the router managment page. That said, when accessing from outside the network, you will reach your apex via your gateway IP address which can change everytime your router is power cycled and even aribtrarily. Traditionally, we use DynDns as it has a client that runs on a PC on your network and will update DynDns if your IP routers gateway address changes. It also provides you with an actual permanant web address as opposed to an IP that can change at any given time.

As an aside note, I strongly suggest setting your Apex to static IP as opposed Dynamic. That way, your Apex is always at the same internal IP as opposded to controlled by the router in which case, the IP address of the Apex itself can change.

Lastly, as mentioned the is the Apex forum here but there is also the Neptune Forum hosted by Neptune which has a ton of info on port forwarding and networking. Everything you woudl ever want to know is there and then some. Also, you might get a faster response there but I would post your questions in both places.
