trying to start a reef club for lower alabama

Hey guys north alabama /Georgia has atlanta reef club i want to try to start one for lower alabama. Have meetings and coral swaps. I started a free forum here http://saltycolumbus.freeforums.org/ I am basing it from columbus because it is were i am most of the time as i live thirty min from it and most of our local fish stores are in columbus. I will be needing some mods for the site not sure how to set them yet but if you join the site now your chances at being mods for the site are great membership is free for the club, If or when i get more members and select a few to help manage the club we can decide then weather we need to make a membership fee for new members. I dont get on here much but you can message me about the club here if you would like to help or give ideas. I am still working on the site so dont criticize please lol :bounce1:

What part of lower alabama are you in? Mobile has a club, I think, but meet on a different forum. We've got a club in Montgomery (more central). I know someone was working on something for the Dothan area, so the interest is there, too. Good luck getting it all together. The area seems ripe (and hopefully only getting more ripe).

I am in the phenix city alabama/ columbus ga area my mailing adress is pittsview alabama but work and live in phenix and columbus. local area code is 36870 if ya want to google the area. But like i said anyone who wants to join the club can the meets will be either in columbus or phenix when the club gets rolling but attending meets is not mandatory
