TTM and leopard wrasses

Yes I know this has been covered. Yes I know people do it with a Tupperware thing of sand. Yes I know to change the sand each transfer.

Here's my question. In my QT I have an Achilles that barely eats, a Desjardini that eats everything and two potters wrasses. The potters I just added yesterday. In the past I've advocated putting leopards into the DT but with potters I needed a new approach. I can't get them to survive so I decided to qt.

The at for sure has ich. So now everything in qt has ich. I've done TTM so I know how to do it and how it works. Now the question...

We all say not to dig up leopards in the sand. Well, what if in TTM they stay buried and it's time to transfer them? Just dig em out? What if it stresses them out? What's the best way to approach this?

Should I TTM the leopards later when they're out and about more? Do the tangs first? Luckily I didn't buy the 6-8 Ventralis Anthias I was offered yesterday. Yeesh, to have to treat them too and stress out more? Eff that.

Ideas?

The DT has ich? Then why bother with ttm?

The DT does not have ich. The AT in QT has ich. But now everyone one qt does.

Thanks guys. I'll do the tangs first, let the potters get cozy in qt with their new ich buddies and do them later.
