Well, I am seeing something on my yellow tang a couple weeks after last transfer and he is flashing My senior vision is not the greatest, with and without readers. I don't have lights on the QT tanks, and he/she hides when I approach. I used a flashlight to peer down vertically and I see what looks like teenie, teenie spikes protruding from skin. I cannot see them with the flashlight directly on the side. I also see a few 'lumps', larger. I have 0/zip photography skills to get pics of what I see under the skin!
If you look back at my posts I took EVERY precaution I could think of with transfers. Not reusing anything, separate rooms from DT tank. The only thing I can think of is my 2- 30 gal brutes. One for ro/di and one with salt. But I always used fresh gallon jugs (went and bought distilled water to have them on hand) on both DT and QT tanks, never crossing. None of the other fish show any signs (anthias, chromis, goby, royal gramma, firefish). The reason I used 3 20L tanks was to separate the Chromis so they did not kill each other for the 3-4 months my DT is fallow.
Now I am on to copper tx. All will go in one 20L. I can't keep up with 3 QT and the DT tanks with all the water changes and testing. My poor dogs are so neglected for attention and grooming at this point.
So new tank being set up tonight and I begin again. Warning....I may have questions!
