TTM for leopard wrasse question

Hello,

I am trying to empty my DT out because of uch. Going to do the 72 days fallow treatment. Problem is that one of the figh I have in there that will need TTM to make sure no ich gets to the qt tank is a leopard wrasse.

Do I need to have a sandbed in all of his transfer tanks for him, or will he be ok just with pipes to hide in? He is normally a sand sleeper.

A tupperware (or equivalent) filled with sand will work, but the sand would need to be disposed of after each TTM cycle. Leopards sleep in the sand and if none is available, will often damage their mouth.
