TTM on small Majestic Angel

I have always went with cupramine on my fish. I have some clowns and Cardinal fish being treated now. I'm pretty comfortable keeping the copper levels correct and have never lost a fish in copper. I'm planning on getting a small (less than 2") majestic angel in the next few weeks and am considering going with TTM since the Angels are supposed to not handle copper as well. I am planning to buy four 5 gal buckets and 4 air stones for the transfer containers so the only thing I will need to worry about sanitizing is the heater (I have two 25w eheims). The heater will be controlled by a rancor.

Just a little concerned that all the moving will be tougher on a delicate fish than just keeping it at .4-.5 of copper for 4 weeks. Any opinions? Should I make sure it is eating prior to starting TTM? I pretty much assume every new fish has ick so I usually start treating with cupramine on the day of arrival.

TTM is about the absolute way of getting rid of ich. Copper, supposedly is only effective at .5ppm, so if it drops to .4ppm, it's not working. If it goes above .5ppm than it can become toxic to the fish. You are on the right track for all the equip for the TTM. I recommend having some Prime on hand. I use Prime the 2nd day.
