I have always went with cupramine on my fish. I have some clowns and Cardinal fish being treated now. I'm pretty comfortable keeping the copper levels correct and have never lost a fish in copper. I'm planning on getting a small (less than 2") majestic angel in the next few weeks and am considering going with TTM since the Angels are supposed to not handle copper as well. I am planning to buy four 5 gal buckets and 4 air stones for the transfer containers so the only thing I will need to worry about sanitizing is the heater (I have two 25w eheims). The heater will be controlled by a rancor.
Just a little concerned that all the moving will be tougher on a delicate fish than just keeping it at .4-.5 of copper for 4 weeks. Any opinions? Should I make sure it is eating prior to starting TTM? I pretty much assume every new fish has ick so I usually start treating with cupramine on the day of arrival.
