Deep Reef

I have a problem, I am in the middle of performing a TTM of ich removal on a new fish. A job emergency is calling me out of town on Monday which will be my 3rd transfer. I won't be back until Thursday evening so I won't be able to perform the last transfer that morning as per schedule. Should I perform the transfer that evening? Do I start the 12 day process all over again from day 1? Is there another option? Help!!!!!

to not have to go back to Day 1 when you return, you will need to find someone to perform that last transfer before 72 hours passes, which would be Thursday at whatever time of day you did the Monday transfer or earlier.

even though the final transfer is considered an 'insurance transfer', it just isn't worth the consequence by skipping it.

one option is for you to have another tank already setup (obviously a disinfected tank, likely meaning you need a 3rd tank/equipment). Then just have someone come scoop out the fish with a net and move them over. This is the least amount of work you can ask someone else to do for you. spouse/friend/family.

^^if you do the latter option, make sure to keep it far away from the 3rd transfer tank so that splashing/spraying/aerosol doesn't knock Ich over to what will be used for the 4th transfer tank.

you could also have them do the final transfer the night before. this makes the total number of days at 11.5 or so, which is well over the ~7 days it takes for Trophonts to jump off. just in case time of day matters in getting someone to help you out.
