I learned a lot from you at the last meeting.
I was looking forward to learning more from you in the future as well.
This forum can get on your nerves and I have felt the same way at times.
Just ignore the BS and enjoy the good stuff.

I have realized I am too wrapped up in the social aspect of things both here and the hobby in general, that I spend more time with that than with my tank in general. I have realized this isn't what it should be about.
I find that I am often frustrated and disapointed because of that and need to "get back to basics"
I may be have been a little "dramatic" in my posting, but the message is the same and need to step back.
On second thought, Pete please leave me on the roster, but do not know when I will be back.

I havent met you before in person but whenever I have posted threads concerning reefing you have almost always given me very valuable input. Just wanted to say thank you for your help it was/is greatly appreciated. If you ever want to meet and talk reef LMK : )

I have benefited both from your generousity (the superman), and your knowledge in this amazing hobby/way of life and I want to thank you for that and wish you well.
I can understand the need to spend less time forum-bound and more time doing the actual hobby. In the end, life is just way too short, and thus our time should be spent in a way that holds as much meaning and value to us as possible.
I wish you all the best, and hope you won't be a total stranger and will drop by this forum from time to time.

I want to make sure you guys understand, that I have come to realize I spend WAY too much on other thing aspects of this hobby than my tank itself.
I appreciate all that has been said, and am sorry for my original statement, as it seems harsh and unfair of me to say such.
Please understand I am really frustrated with the whole hobby in large right now, and realize I shouldn't let it get to me and therefore need to step WAY back fo a while.
I am always happy to help if anyone needs anything, feel free to pm me. However, doing otherwise I can spend up to 3 hours writing one of my "thesis" and am burned out.
When such causes "drama" that reflects on the club, I don't feel I should be a hypocrite, call it.....self exile.
