Bright blue zoo's 25 for 25 bux? NO WAY! I paid 12/polyp for mine from Atlantis. But they are Tubs Blues too. I saw the price is now 15/polyp.

Good point Viper there may be some that think that.

Quick Explanation. Tubbs was a guy who got his hands on a nice blue colony, named them after himself, and there you have it. Basic explanation, but true.

The other Blues are called God's Blues, since he made them... :)

I don't know if mine are tub's or not...but they are blue under any light . The less actinic the brighter they get.

The other blues that I have purchased were suppose to be blue I just dont see it compared to these.

I can see why they might be more expensive because they grow slower than any I've seen. I didn't hesitate to fork over the $25 and I would have paid $50.

I wouldn't pay $12 per polyp for anything...sounds like Enternet-bull....

Here is a better pic...

yeah those are all real nice but i am with acrylic_300, I cant pay 12/polyp and pay for shipping its crazy. you talking 70 dollars for three polyps when its all said and done and you still dont know if you are getting real blue polyps or not.

My LFS also hoards all thier zoas says how they need to propigate them first so maybe some time around next x-mas we will talk about it.

I dont know i will keep looking and maybe run into some. For a REASONABLE price. Anyway, nice zoas all and I myself will keep looking. :)

They were alot more "rare" to come by in the past. The tubbs are so high because your paying for a name brand, like NIKE for example. There are also many different morphs. I find them all to be beautiful! ;)

These that RevHtree posted are what I call Tubb's

Because the skirts have little green dots that form a circle around it.
