tube anemone water conditions

I have a nitrate problem right now in my tank. It might have been those rats I was raising for my ball pythons. No more rats but I was wondering if the anemone could handle high nitrates. I have a colony of armor of gods that have been with me for awhile. They show no signs of dying or growing for that matter. But what about the anemone?

rats? I'm lost how that correlates. Were the rats in the tank you're now using? As long as you cleaned it well it shouldn't have mattered what was in there before. How much LR do you have? Skimmer? do you overfeed? need more info.

Tube anemone needs the same water conditions as a regular anemone, as close to zero nitrates as you can get.
