Tubipora musica Fungus?

Hey all,

purchased this piece about 3 days ago from the LFS. First piece in my Oceanic tank. Came home from work today and it looks like the attached photo....

Has had ~3/4 of the polyps open since i got it. My coral banded shrimp has been crazy about it since i got it too.

I did a coralRX and a iodine dip before putting it in the tank as well.

It may take a few days to settle. Honestly, I'd explain all of this in that you irritated the coral with the dips, and once introduced into the new tank, it started sloughing mucus because of the irritation. The coral banded shrimp is interested in the mucous, which may keep bothering it as well.

Hopefully with time it should be fine, but I'd wait a week, and see if you can keep the shrimp away if it is constantly pestering the coral.
