Tubipora musica

So, I have seen some sites put it under LPS and some under softs. Which is it or is it considered both? Also, does anyone know when they are in season? I am trying to do a mostly Pipe Organ tank but finding different colors right now is tough.

My inspiration if anyone is interested :)

That is so awesome! Where are you located? I rarely see other varieties than the standard greenish brown ones. I had two huge colonies that had been in my tank for several years until I sold them to move across the country...wish I hadn't.

Tubipora musica is actually a "soft coral" since it is an alcyonarian coral (as opposed to the Scleractinian, "stony corals")

I live kentucky, I have a feeling it will take me a while to track these down.

Not sure where you are in KY, but if you are close to the Ohio border, the Cincinnati stores (when I lived there) often got in some pretty unique varieties. Good luck...they're definitely an awesome coral.
