Tune down a 6080

Hi,
Can you tune down a 6080 if it's too powerful. I'm not talking about using wavemakers, as I see from other answers that it is not posible. So no pulse or waves, but just a desire to get a bit less flow.
Thaks.

You can either buy the 6060 propeller- this is only safe if you are downsizing, you can never upsize. You can also buy the face from a 6200, the outlet is .5" bigger so the flow is more diffuse.

The 6060 prop essentially gives you a 6060 that uses a little more power because it has a bigger motor coil. The flow would be 1600gph. The outlet- reefkeeper1 is the only person I think who has that answer.

The propeller has part nr. 6100.12, as fer as I can see, but I can't seem to find a part nr. for the face from a 6200?

On a 6080 you would have part 6080.12A, on a 6060 part 6060.12A. The face is part 6200.230.

The outlet- reefkeeper1 is the only person I think who has that answer.

In my 150g, the 6200 outlets made a big difference in spreading out the flow for my two 6080s. That extra 1/2" in diameter means a lot more surface area for the flow to spread out.
