Tunicate or ?

I noticed this on the rock underneath a devil's hand that I got about a week ago. I wasn't sure if they were even alive till I noticed that the openings on both sides periodically close and the organism shrinks as if expelling water, then reopens after a bit. I'm not sure if it one or two organisms. I have a feeling it's a type of tunicate, but in searching I haven't found anything that looks exactly like it.

I'm hardly an expert, but it sure looks like a tunicate to me.

Yep - that's the only thing I could think of too. It appears that there are a lot of varieties of tunicates. But, I'm sure no expert either.
