Tunze 1073.05

I have a Tunze 1073.05 that seems to work erratically.
The control box has fallen apart a few times and I've had to use tape to hold it in place.


Incidentally, find that the control boxes on my Tunze 6095 pumps are flimsy as well.

For the most part, however, i love the overall quality and reliability of my Tunze products.

In any case i would like to send in my 1073.05 in for repairs.
It is out of warranty.

Would appreciate your assistance and instructions.

I would be happy to look at it. We have not used those boxes since mid 2015, they now include a small controller with a mounting bracket in its place. When they will not stay closed the fix is to bend out the tabs slightly and reassemble them so no wires are caught between the housing and it should stay closed. In later production a check for this was instituted, it has to do with how fast the piece cools from molding, if it was still hot when released from the mold the tabs bend in as they cool but it can be adjusted by just flexing them outward.
