Hi need some help. I am looking to add a sump to my 360 Lt reef tank, which is not drilled.
Problem I need help with is, What is the maximum height from surface of the water to the top rim of the tank can the 1074/2 cope with. Reason for the question my tank has a measurement of 75mm from the water surface to Tank rim when it's at it's capacity and around 85mm normal running height.
I can't increase the water height as the cross bracing bars of the then would show.
Further to this from the picture of the 1074/2 on the Tunze web site it looks like there is also a water intake which extends below the water surface entry opening. How does this work? surley in the event of a power cut there would be a huge amount of water back syphoned into the sump.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
