Tunze 2x6000 with 7091 settings?

I have 2x6000's on my 55 gallon with the pumps on top facing each other on the opposites end of the tank, would it be better to run them on the back wall, shooting forward for more of a wavey effect? About the settings on the 2x7091 controllers, what the optimal setting what everyone uses for these controllers? just trying to get a feel for my Tunze's.

I would just pulse them between 30% and 50% at first and slowly ramp up the top end flow as the corals adjust, likely you will only want to run one pump at a time so I would use a timer at a 1hr interval.

Thanks Roger for the advice. Currently I have both of my 6000 facing each other on opposite sides of the tank in my 55 gallon. I have the 7091 single controllers set at 30% to 100% every 3 seconds, does that sound about right? No corals yet but soon to be starting SPS's.

That is fine but you may need to reduce the top flow down to say 60% especially when first adding new corals. They will need to acclimate to the higher flow, especially if they have been in store or wholesaler holding tanks with less flow for some time.
