Tunze 3135 setup

I purchased the TUNZE OSMOLATOR UNIVERSAL 3155 a few weeks ago and finally had the time to set it up this weekend on my 46 Gal Bowfront Reef tank.

My problem is the rail that holds the sensors on the back of my tank does not allow enough height. At the highest settings on the rail, both of the sensors are submegrged and I cant't adjust them to be at the water line.

Any idea on what I am doing wrong?

Thanks!

That is correct, the water level will have to be about 1.5" below the top for it to work with the holders. An alternative would be to silicon the rails using the included mounting plates or to use the 6025.50 magnet holder but they must be at the bottom of the rails with the sensors at the top to avoid magnetic interference.

The problem is that if I let the water go down 1.5 inches from the top, my preskimmer box for my Aqua C skimmer will not have enogh water in it and the pump won't work.

Any idea how to run both?

BTW- I do not have a sump where i can put the 3155.
