Hi Roger,
I bought a new tunze 3155 on december 12 2011. The unit works, but In the past 2 days, I came back home with the controller beeping. The pump on , low and level lights were flashing. When I turn the controller on and off, it fixes the problem temporarily.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Collin

PM me your name and address and on Tuesday we will get a replacement to you. Since late October we started with a new Osmolator board that is much more advanced, but it seems we have some that the programming has a glitch.

My unit is having close to the same problem. Mine was purchased in November of 2011.

My cords are soldered to the board. Did I get a really old version? Will a new board be possible?

Ya know what, after doing some reading around the net, I decided to try some of the "quick fixes" I found around the net. I moved the controller 5 feet away from any ballast and the first 24 hours, I have had no errors.

I'm gonna monitor this situation...

The cords for the sensors and pump pigtail should be soldered to the board. Please keep me posted if anything changes.

Roger, I too am having this issue on a Tunze 3155 bought during boxing week. Only problem is I'm located in Canada. Can you please advise on how I may get this issue resolved? Can you handle it or I'd there a Canadian equivalent that I should talk to?

Hi Roger,
I bought my 3155 Boxing Week Dec/11
I finally finished my build and installed the ATO May 9

A couple times a day, sometimes more, the warning will go off and both red leds are flashing.
I could reproduce this by unpugging the powerhead in the holding tank, so I checked and the powerhead was leaking about 16v.
I moved the ATO power supply to a circuit separate from the powerhead, but could still reproduce the error.
Last night I installed a ground probe and the leak is now down to 0v, but I can still reproduce the error if I unplug the powerhead 2 or 3 times.

It has now been 12 hours since installing the ground probe and so far no errors.

The unit is not near a ballast

As I stated, I can still reproduce the error if I unplug the powerhead 2 or 3 times.
Any thoughts ?

Thanks,
Greg

It has to be due to some interference issue. I would contact Xenia or your dealer. It is possible to install a capacitor on the board that boosts the signal to minimize the effects of interference.
