Tunze 5017

You could use speaker wire, what I would do here is pull a donor from a dead control board. The best would be the original style connector, they have them at Radio Shack, they are called European Terminal Connectors.

sohal, I would just send it in, it would be the best way to diagnose the issue.

My Tunze ATO has done it again, just stopped pumping water in. The display says it is pumping water but nothing is getting pumped. Not sure why this keeps happening, do you think it is the pump???

If this is an older controller, it could be the controller, as I posted before the older models have a lower mA limit and a pump made since 2008 will only work with the original power supply at 9V on a controller made before 2008. I would strongly suggest sending it in, it could be the pump, but their are other possibilities on an older unit.

Well I switched out the pump today and it started pumping so I think the pump just needed replacement. If I do have to send it in, where would I send it to? Might be a good idea to have it checked out, I don't mind paying whatever it would cost to have it checked

No cost to have it checked, the only costs would be shipping and parts.

I am going to send the unit in this week Roger, what information do you need with the unit when I mailed it out to you

Just a note in the box briefly describing the issue and with your return address and a daytime phone number.

Thank you for being so helpful, you are just another piece of evidence showing why Tunze is a top company in this hobby. Thanks again
