I recently ordered 2 Tunze 6000 and the multicontroller from you. I've also asked for a different mount as I've a 250g pentagon acrylic tank with no opening on the top that is close to the side wall of the tank.
The suction mount that came has a triangle plate with 3 suction cups. It doesn't come with instruction. So I requested instruction from the Tunze Forum and was told that these suction cups does not work with the Stream series. Since you recommended the suction cups I would like to confirm that.
