Tunze 6015 Problem/Question

I recently purchased the Tunze nanostream 6015 and I am experiencing some troubles with it, when I plug it into a power source the propeller does not spin but I can feel the motor running. If u give the propeller a spin, the motor will start to turn them but when I unplug the pump and plug it back in it does not start again. Ideally I would like to run this pump on a wavemaker but since the propeller does not consistently work I can't do this obviously. I haven't even tried using it with my RKL yet since I can not get it to function properly. Has anyone else experienced problems like this with a new tunze nanostream? Will the company be willing to send me a new one since it appears to be a problem with the pump? Also is this pump compatible with controllers to be used on a wavemaker setting? Thanks for the help.

The Nano 6015 is a plug and play pump and was not designed to be run on a controller.
In saying that I am not familiar with RKL controllers so this may be possible.

The Pump has warranty so you are covered for the problem on start up.

Roger from Tunze USA will be able to follow up with a fix.

That is great news, thanks for the response. I hope someone will be able to provide further assistance on whether or not it is controllable. If not on the RKL is there a tunze controller that will work for this pump?

It is not recommended to be ran on a controller in intervals shorter than 15 minutes, longer the better for pump and impeller life. As well as the 6015, 6025, 6045 are non controllable pumps thus not able to be ran on Tunze controllers. Also they do chatter at startup as well.
