Tunze 6025 running in reverse

i have 2 tunze 6025s that are now running in reverse. one started doing it 2 weeks ago and i took it out. now my other one is doing this. what is the problem and how can i fix it?

i had it running in reverse for about 3 minutes and then the pump just died. no power is going through the pump now.

How old are they, and were the pumps on a wavemaker? Have you disassembled and cleaned them? If so any visual damage to the impeller and is the shaft still firmly seated in the motor?

I need more info, as Shawn has asked, I need to know the approximate age of the pumps and if a wavemaker was used. There are a few possible culprits, a broken prop, a modified front cover, the other is that the shaft is broken or pulled out and this can also be caused by the pump being dirty or voltage below 102V and above 132V.

a wavemaker was never used. i'd say it's at least a year old. there is no modified front cover. i pulled the shaft out and put it back in several times, nothing works. now the pump won't even spin when plugged in.

The shaft should never come out, it is meant to be permanently part of the motor. I suspect that is the culprit, send it in and include a return address and phone number in the box-

awesome, thanks! also, can i buy the clamp that goes to the magnet? mine cracked in half while fooling around with the pump.
