Tunze 6025's

Well, I finally got my Tunze 6025 nanostreams yesterday. I know their were a few people wanting to know about them.

Pretty impressed with these little guys, and they are little(which is good since they are for nano tanks:)) They dont appear to moving much, until you really look at the polyps, they are going everywhere. With both of them going, they will move the frag plugs around in the eggcrate. They definitely create a very wide flow pattern, and the built in magnets are a big plus. I also like the way you can position them, basically its a ball-mount, you can move them in just about any direction. The portion of my frag tank they are being used in is 2'x2', they work good for this, much more though and you'd really want to look at the 6045's. I may end up getting one of the 6045's to put at one end and go the whole 4' length of the frag tank.

Thanks for the review Allen. Are they kind of loud? Rattle alot? I know some people have been having issues with that while they're breaking in.

So, my tank is 5' long but just softies, zoas, LPS, do you think it would be better to go with 2 6045's or 2 6025's? Plus I have about 600gph out of my return pump.

Hey Matt, I noticed that one of them rattled a bit when it first starts, for maybe a second or two, but it seems to have worked out of it. They both are starting up just fine now, no noise.

I think it really depends on where you're going to place them, if youre trying to go the full length, not sure, even with softies etc, these would be enough to get to the other side. Also depends on whether they are on a wave maker or just running all the time. I'd think the 6045's on a wavemaker in the front corners would be the best. These would work good if you wanted them on the back of the tank, pushing toward the front.

Hey. Where are you guys ordering your nanostreams from. I gues I havnt really looked to hard yet but I havnt seen them anyhwere. I could go for one or two 6025 on my 75.
