I got 2 used 6055s yesterday and on both of then the front part doesn't not clip very well at the top where the cord is. Is that typical or should it clip in there nicely?

On a side note, since i have never used the nanos before the C clip just holds the PH loosely of does it clip and hold it stationary, cause i cant figure that out either:)

The clamps I owe you arrived this morning and are shipping out today.

The cover should fit on securely but loosely, it should stay together but not take much force to pull apart. The clamps should allow you to move the pumps and fit tightly enough that the pumps stay in place.

ok, Then that sounds about right on the cover. it fits real loose. but there is nothing broken on it. so sounds like that is how they are. I was just afraid it might come off and break the impeller. but that doesn't seem like its the case.

Thanks Roger!

Roger - My 6055 front covers don't fit snug enough like that. They actually fall off as soon as I try to mount them in the clips. It's almost like the cord is pushing the covers off.

Is there a fix for that, or are new covers needed? I was pondering putting some CA on to hold them in place - but that'd make cleaning them a bit hard. I've been putting off doing anything about them, so they've been out of service for a while now - but I've got to figure something out. Think the tank is getting bored with little flow! haha

Thanks,

Ed

PM me me your name and address and how many pumps have this problem and we will send the covers.
