tunze 6055

I brought a 6055 here on reef central and plaining to run it thru my Reefkeeper Elite.. my question is that it has a white propeller and should I upgrade to a blue one?

The color of the propeller on nano streams is only cosmetic, the issue is that the blue propeller coincides with an upgraded disk 6055.740 which reduces clicking noise in and on off cycles. The disk is the main thing to upgrade but it does require a tool to remove it (small pick or small needlenose). I would get the pump and try it out, the noise is an issue for the user but does no harm to the pump, if you can live with it, you may just want to leave it alone.

I brough a Fluval Osaka 85 Gallon tank and have a maxjet modded and another power head and I want to switch all my pumps to tunze since I read a lot how well they work. plus the reefkeeper as a controller for them. I have the Tunze 6055 running in the tank and its in the left corner pointed toward the center of the tank... I have mostly soft corals but was wondering which pump I should buy that would help up the 6055 in my tank. Thanks

A 6125 is not controllable and I think it is likely overkill, what do you plan to keep? What are the dimensions of that tank?

(47.2”W x 25.2”H x 17.7”D) I have soft corals and running one Tunze 6055, a modded Maxjet and another Dual Twin Powerhead Pump. what Tunze would work best with the 6055? I what to get rid of the other powerheads and run with only Tunze powerheads

thanks

It would work, but you likely wouldn't use full power, new ones will include the wide flow kit, but they are available separately for older ones.

I received my Tunze 6095 today. My question is should I put it on the same side as my Tunze 6055 or opposite ends

thanks
