tunze 6060 and msw converter

Is it all right to use a backup converter on the 6060s that uses a modified sine wave instead of a true sine wave? I know its ok for the 6000.
Also what is the wattage used on the 6060 and the 6000s? Are they both 11watts?

It is no problem at all for a 6000 but a 6060 depends on the frequency to run properly. It will work for the shot term, perhaps as long as a day, but the pump will run hotter and it is not ideal.

So the worst that could happen is the 6060 could overheat and stop if it was run for an extended period of time? Any permanent damage to the pump? The longest I would assume to use it this way would be 8 hours.

If the longest use is 8hrs I would worry about it but it could potentially destroy the pump if it was running on an inverter for days or weeks. It is not likely but not impossible, just depends on how off the sine wave is.
