Tunze 6060 - comments, questions

I just purchased and installed the Tunze 6060 in my 75 using the magnet holder. I like the pump so far, but I have some comments and questions.

1) the instructions provided are terrible. I have the magnet holder, and I basically jury rigged it together because of the lack of documentation. I think I did it in such a way that the pump is very stable, but imagine what could happen to customers less enterprising than myself if their tunze falls off the mount and shoots a stream of water onto the floor.

2) Are all tunze stream pumps brown in color?

3) I read somewhere, but cant seem to find it now, about how the pump should be kept 1 foot away from pacemakers. Can you please explain this in further detail? The tank is a 75 gallon, and people who are simply viewing the tank are within 1 foot of the pump, I am deeply concerned about this.

Thanks.

Pacemakers work on magnets, pumps are magnetic, the magnet holders are magnetic. Magnetic instruments are used to reset and retrieve data from pacemakers and any magnetic field could cause this, that is why they have the warnings at all places that use microwaves.

Black is our new color and is being phased in.

My pics in the photo gallery can show you how to assemble the holder. The manuals aren't the greatest but they aren't as bad as most.

thank you for the prompt response. It's good to hear that this isn't something that is special to tunze pumps, my fiancee's dad loves the tank and has a pacemaker, and I woudlnt want to tell him to avoid it.
