Tunze 6060 Jetstream setup

I am getting a 6060 to go in the corner of my 90 gallon.
Also I am getting the purpose made rock to house it in. Will this just sit on the sand/ or will I have to anchor it in some way?
Does this come with a big filter on the intake. Im buying this online, hence the questions

Their is no intake filter. It cannot sit on the sand. It needs to be propped up on a rock structure or else it will suck in the sand and destroy the pump. The rock is about 10" by 6" by 6". The pump face just slides into a PVC coupler in the rock.
