Tunze 6095 problem

One of the two 6095 pumps I have stops running when hooked up to Apex controller. Switching the wires from one to the other has the same result with the same pump. Other one responds correctly.

Do they have the attached 7090 controller and was that controller set to external mode and 100%? Pumps made since June will have this controller and it must be set to external to work with another controller. If they lack the controller the main issue will be that the DIN plug in inserted far enough, the Apex cable does not fit as tight and the boot will usually need to be cut or pulled back to push in far enough and make contact.

No attached controller. Bought them in June (older version I guess). The wire is working with the one pump but not the other. Doesn't matter which wire goes to this pump it will stop it from running. Other pump works with either cable hooked to it.

OK, I suspect on the one pump either the DIN socket has a loose connection or the socket is slightly further back so the plug is not going in far enough. If you wanted to check this you can open the little black box, 3 wires should be soldered to the DIN plug. I would also try pulling back the boot on the DIN end of the cable so it can be inserted further. You are also welcome to send it in for service/inspection. I would test it here with a 7092 Controller.

Rodger,
Ok I took the cover off and checked the wires yellow and brown have the varying voltage grey is constant on both pumps. The one pump does shut down after either wire is connected. Will start back up after unplugging controller wire.
Thanks Eric

Are you reasonably sure the pins of the DIN cable fit snug and make contact? It sounds like the connector on the pump is wired, I have seen where a wire broke free. I think at this point I would send the pump in.
