i bought a used tunze 6100 and its beeping what does this mean ??

i rplaced the power supply so is the eletricbox bad or my pump?

It could be the prop is just jammed up from dried salt, sand, calcium and algae. Take it apart and soak it in warm water.

thanks rodger

i should metion it does this even without the prop in it but it doesnt do it with the smaller power supply?? the 11v but with the 19v it does did i recieve the wrong power supply with it thanks again for the quick response rodger

They always do this without the prop, the alarm means the magnetic field of the prop is not rotating properly so if it is missing, it definitely sounds the alarm. It will also do this if it is run dry. With 11V it spins or you just have no alarm? If it spins I really think it must be the drive unit (prop assembly) something must be stuck or jammed. Go through the manual or the thread at the top of the forum on cleaning. If you had a wrong power supply the connection would be different so you wouldn't be able to plug it in.
