Well I did a big water change last weekend. I shutoff my 6100 during the change. It will not turn back on now. The pump is less than a year old. No alarm, nothing. On the power brick The led is lit up red. Not sure if that means anything or it jut means the power is on.
The led indicate that the power is on but it may not get to your pump. Have you try to clean the pump? Give it a good vinegar bath and let us know the status. I have seen that problem before but i hope this is not the case...
It sounds like you have a 6101, which has no alarm. First check that the pump is clean and the drive unit is not locked up by calcium, if that is not the problem, send it in and we will repair it.
Ok. I followed up with Jar*Head and I cleaned the unit with Vinegar. I had no idea how well that works! Anyway. The driveshaft is not obstructed by anything. I have the pump sitting in my sink and it is clean and still will not turn on.
The power brick red led is illuminated and if I plug it into my multi-controller the multi-controller recognizes it. Unfortunately it doesn't make it work.
Roger, Just wanted to drop you a note to say thanks. Have had the pump back and running for two months without any problems. Thanks for repairing it for free!!!
