Soaked in vinegar bath, cleaned and reassembled. The 7091 controller shows the pump is on. I have also unplugged and turned back on and checked connections? Any thoughts?

Have you removed and disassembled the drive unit? Soaking alone is not going to get it clean or free it if it is jammed if it was not first stripped down. Do you get any sort of alarm when you plug it in?

no alarm. if I unplug the 6091 wave controller, the alarm sounds. otherwise nothing. I will break down the entire impeller and try again.

Roger,
Here is better info. manufacture date is 14 - 07 - 03. The driver is 7240.26 and the power supply 7410.602. The controller is actually a 6091 wave controller. when I unplug the wave controller I get an alarm sound from the driver, once I plug it back in alarm goes off. No humming sound or any sound at all from the driver or the pump.

I have the kind of impeller from your cleaning thread that is pinned at the top that is fewer pieces with the tunze coffee mug in the picture.

So my question is should anything on the impeller spin? when I take out the bottom ring with red o-ring that spins freely when you set the impeller into it correct?

so pump has been running fine for two months and sunday it was just off when I got up that morning. I have green and red lights going back and forth on the controller just no pump.

No components have gotten wet as they are in a perfectly dry place. I opened up the driver tonight and the circuit board looks good.

It sounds like the motor is dead and with the 6091 the on cycle is too short for the alarm to come on. The magnet and prop are one unit and spin in the bearing at the bottom of the well. Not much can be done in this case, the pump is 9+ years old and is just dead and the motor block for this model pump is no longer made. The 6105 is the current equivalent. There is an upgrade kit 6100.015, which is a 6105 with no magnet holder or wide flow housing, these are slightly cheaper than a complete pump but they are out of stock at the moment.
