tunze 6100

I just hooked up my tunze 6100.Is it normal for the tunze to blow out air bubbles every mintue or so.It did not do this yesterday.

This would say to me it is either too close to the surface or the intake is to the surface- the solid portion should be up.

My 6080's do this every so often too. They also do the reverse and suck detrius piles up from the bare bottom directly beneath them. Top and bottom whirlpools going on. Pretty cool.

Yep, when I had mine too close to the surface they would suck in air and shoot it out. When I lowered them just a bit, they stopped doing this.
