tunze 6101 voltage

hello,

Im from Australia and Im looking at getting the tunze ts12 kit (with the 6101 and single controller) from marine depot and it says on the webite that its 100-240v, I just wanted to confirm that this is correct before I buy it.

It is correct but you will not be able to get warranty service in Australia, it will have to come back to the states and shipping will have to be paid both ways or you will have to pay a labor charge to the distributor in Australia. You would also need to purchase a power cord for an Australian plug.

yeah thats ok as tunze stuff is pretty good plus i should be able to get spare parts here for it right?

any idea why this one is 100-240v and the others were not?

also is the controller 100-240v as well?

Controllers get there power from the pump so they work anywhere. The transformer is electronic, like what a laptop computer uses and therefore universal.
