Tunze 6105 magnet not strong enough?

I have 2 6105's that are brand new and when I went to mount one of them it's sliding down on the glass? I swapped the back part of the magnet and it's holding the other tunze fine so it must be the magnet portion that is mounted to the powerhead? The glass is 1/2" so it should be fine....any ideas?

another update, I was thinking it was the inner magnet on the 6105 but I swapped that out with my other new 6105 and it held the other powerhead up fine. Could this powerhead actually be heavier than the other since no combination of magnets is holding it up? I also moved it to the other side just in case the glass had a slight thickness difference and that didn't work either. Very odd and these are both brand new

Their should be no discernable weight difference between pumps. Does the magnet have the bumpons installed? These are critical near the limits of the magnet as they act like gecko feet and grab the glass. Is the tank filled with water? This also makes a big difference, the hold is much less on a dry tank.

Hey Roger, yes...the bumpons are installed it's filled up. I'm stumped on this one

I don't know, I can only guess some small difference in one of the magnets and it is a bit weaker, if you email me the invoice and your shipping info we can get the magnet swapped out.
