Tunze 6105 stopping

I have one of my two Tunze 6105s that just stops sporadically. I have to unplug the circular plug that goes to the variable speed controller and the power plug from the "block" and then plug them back in and it starts working again. Normally, I have to plug the VDM connector in first and then the power.

Awhile ago, one of the "blocks" came apart, the plastic pieces did and i had to snap it back together. Could there be a loose connection. I'm not 100% sure its that block that is causing the issues right now.

its like every 2-3 days that the Tunze quits spinning.

It is unlikely it is a loose connection unless a wire was pinched or damaged. I would try the pump stand alone with no controller, this will help us narrow down if the issue is the pump or the controller. A lot of times this is just due to a dirty pump that cannot restart or run on lower speeds, has the pump been disassembled and cleaned within the last 4 months? How old is the pump?

I last cleaned them in September. They are a couple of years old. They run off of the VDM ports on the Apex head unit (#3/4)

It would be worth double checking that no calcium has built up to the point it is causing an issue. I would try with no controller to determine if the problem is on the pump end or control end.
