Will the 6200.50 magnet be strong enough to support a wavebox through 1" acyrlic? My only other option would be to place the wavebox on one of the overflows which brings up the next question- can the "outside" half of the magnet be used inside an overflow, thus subjecting it to water?

No it won't be strong enough to support it, and yes you can place the other half in the over flow box......both are created equal.

thanks! one more question,- for a 360 g (96 x 24 x 36) would you recommend 2 waveboxes? If so, on opposing ends? or next to each other. This will be a FOWLR with about 400lb of LR. thanks again
