I got a 6200 from a fellow reefer that has a split in the wire right next to the pump.
Is this a replacable wire through tunze??
If so how much does this service cost??

Also is there a way to test the other electronics (driver and transformer)?

The 6200 is a very early model and the transformer, driver are no longer in production.
The damage to the cable is not a repairable.

tunze 6200

tunze 6200

so besides the impeller everything else is worthless?
theres no other drive units that would cross referance?

The only repair in this case would be a new motor block, the cord is wired and sealed inside the block and cannot be replaced as a seperate part. This block is no longer made. We do still have transformers in stock but they are no longer made. Drivers we have as used/refurbed. All mechanical parts like props, drive units, orings are still made. There is a discounted 6205 upgrade available, but this is still not a cheap option, the motor block when it was available was just shy of $200, a 6205 upgrade would run $415.53 and there would be an additional 18% discount if you sent in the old 6200 so we could salvage any usable parts. The 6205 does not share one single part of the 6200 so the 6200 would have no real value for parts unless you have another 6200.
