tunze 6205

hey my tunze 6205 makes a hum noise at 60% flow and greater. Is this normal, as i thought they were silent.

Most of the noise comes from the pump vibrating against the magnet which transmits to the glass, it is worse on thinner glass, if the glass is nearer the limit of the magnet holder it is reduced. In about a month a new clamp which has a rubber sleeve with be out which will reduce this, for now I would try placing a cut out section of a mouse pad or similar rubber pad between the magnet and glass.
