Tunze 6212 Wavebox not working

I've had this wavebox in my system for about a year and a half. It's been working fine until just recently when I noticed no more waves. I removed the pump, disassembled the propeller, bearings and soaked everything in vinegar to clean built up calcium as I do with all my pumps regularly. Despite doing this, the pump will not turn at all under power... I can spin the propeller by hand very easily so I am sure there is no obstruction. The controller is blinking back and forth as usual, but the pump is not responding. It doesn't feel like the pump is generating a field because I can move the propeller by hand and it doesn't start up... typically you can get old pumps to start like this even if they are very worn. So, I'm at a loss. All of the electronics are wall mounted and above the water line so they are not getting wet. What can I do to fix this? Thanks,

Andy

Does the power supply light up (oldest units with round power supply won't have any light)? Does the controller light up? Are you sure this is a 6212 and not a 6215, 6212 was discontinued in mid 2009.

I believe it is a 6212. The manual is labeled with 6212, the controller says 6091 and the pump says 6261. I may have bought it in 2009. I was collecting parts for a while before I actually started the system. The controller lights up fine... I mentioned that it will blink back and forth like normal when it's active. The issue is that the pump does nothing. I have a volt-ohm meter if there is a way to diagnose here. Thanks.

I am sorry that I missed your statement about the controller. In that case it has to be the pump, provided the pump on light is on on the controller as well as the two lights blinking back and forth. I would send in the pump, include a note with return address and phone number-

OK, thanks. Should I send it all just to be safe - I realize the controller seems to function as intended, but is it possible that there is a failure in an ouput driver in the controller and even though it appears to be the pump, the pump just never sees the signal so it doesn't respond?
