Hi Roger

My 6215 motor is dead. It is the latest model not the old 6212 which i had couple before.

I ran it for about 6 months (clean every 3 months) and it is now dead. I looked at the motor and don't see the manufacture date. Can i still send it in for warranty?

Thanks

Yes, however, please check the following, the prop/magnet must spin on the shaft, if the prop and magnet are fused to the metal shaft, it won't spin and a safety shut down occurs. The majority of these problems only require cleaning of this often ignored part, if the shaft doesn't pull out of the magnet, this is indeed the problem and you need to work them loose and clean the hole in the magnet and the shaft using white vinegar and if neccessary a scotch bright pad.

Roger,

I followed your procedure and leave the impeller parts in 50/50 vinegar water for 1 day, clean it and still does not work. What i experienced is when i turn on the power, i got a very quick pulse then stop. The magnet does spin on the shaft btw

What should i do? Is my impeller broken?

Thanks

Where are you located? It would be best as a next step to send the pump in with the controller and power supply.
