I have ordered these locally. Are these pumps on backorder everywhere? It's been 3 weeks.

Yes, to date 10 have come into the US, we just got 30 more today however we have backorders/preorders for more than 50 that go back as far as last July when they were first announced. This shipment will get us caught up to end of January and hopefully more will arrive soon. Production of this new product has just begun.

Hi Roger,

I just want to check on the status of the 6255s. I was told my order of 2 pumps in Roseville CA was arriving at the end of March. Please let me know. I appreciate it.

I think their may be some confusion, we did get an order from a dealer in Roseville but that was Mar 15, a relatively new order, it is actually the oldest backorder we have for 6255's at this point. We filled all older orders and I was under the impression you had placed the order some time ago, we had orders spanning back to last July. Unfortunately, we do not have anymore in stock and it is difficult to know all the circumstances, I had assumed when I replied your dealer had ordered them from a wholesaler some time ago. As it stands, this order would be filled as soon as more arrive, it is at the top of the list.

I requested the lfs to order the pumps in mid-February to get me on queue for the waiting list and had given them the full payment for both pumps at the end of February (payday). I believe they tried to order them initially from a third party vendor who told them they somehow had one pump in stock. Realizing the pump was unavailable from that vendor, they subsequently ordered them directly to Tunze. I did not realize I am now last in line. I would appreciate it if you could update me with the order sometime in the future. Still patiently waiting.

I am sorry, but I have no more on the way at this time, we fulfilled all our backorders through the date you posted originally. It is possible a wholesaler may have them in stock. All I can tell you at this point is there are no orders ahead of yours so as soon as I get 2, they would go to your dealer but my last contact with the factory re 6255's was that any more are 2-3 weeks out and that was last week.
