Tunze 9001 Protein Skimmer

Hi RC,

I just purchased the Tunze 9001 protein skimmer and I dont think i installed it correctly. I read the instructions through and through a few times already but I am not getting any foaming action.

Is it producing bubbles? If so I think it is installed correctly but just needs to time to build a foam head. If not, the most likely culprit is that the air intake plate that mounts on the pump came loose.

I actually just didnt plug the intake tube into the powerhead.... but i left the air open completely and its not foaming up enough. i feel like its not getting enough foam..

If the air tube is connected and the airhose is not kinked and the needlewheel is not missing any pins, it should start to work, it just needs time.
