Hi guys,
I am sorry to be bothering you since I know you are Tunze USA, and I am up here in good old Canada. But I received a Tunze 9002 DOC Skimmer for my RedSea Max 130D, and it seems to be having some issues.
I have had it in my tank for about 16 hours now, and I have 0 bubbles being produced. I have taken the unit apart and reassembled it to make sure everything was pointing in the right directions (nozzle on the pump was facing upward into what looks like a half bubble) and ensured that the airline was connected and not kinked, and still not a single bubble is forming.
Just wondering what you would suggest doing? I know there is a break in period for skimmers, but this unit should at least be producing some bubbles, and it almost seems like the water is barely circulating within the skimmer body.
I have been reading all night and found that there may have been a couple of faulty venturis produced recently, and I am wondering if mine may be affected by this.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for the assistance!
Dan
